Depending
upon grade it takes 12 to 24 fully grown trees to produce
one ton of paper. Paper made from recycled materials result
in 74% less air pollution and 35% less water pollution.
Recycling half the world's paper would free 20 million acres
of forest land WARAQ shares
environmental concerns and contributes in its own way by
producing paper out of secondary fiber as it's share to
the cause of ecological preservation. WARAQ
is a non polluting industry and does not use toxic or harmful
chemicals in its papermaking process. All process waste
generated is biodegradable.
Water Recycling
Water is the most precious resource we have in this part of
the world. To use this scarce commodity in a justifiable manner
WARAQ installed
a prototype water recycling system which was the first of
its type in use. It ensures a 90% efficiency in waste water
recycling thus ensuring that the scarce natural resource lasts
longer.
